The stages of creating a package!
This is how we ship our glassware!
When we ship packages the goal is to get the products to your home intact...
but we like to do it respecting our philosophy!
As you will see in the following lines, let’s use at least two layers of recycled 90% bubble wrap (the number varies depending on the type of product to be shipped), a box and a box.
It’s true, they’re different materials, and as you know, our goal is to have a very low impact on the planet...
But it is thanks to the composition of these packaging that we can avoid breakages and damage to products; In fact, the composition of a single package certainly has a smaller impact than the eventuality in which it should proceed to the creation and delivery of a second package, cause the breakage of the first.
This type of packaging rewards us and, first of all, the planet as it has never received a break during the shipping phase.
Remember that we send glass objects and it is therefore necessary to have some extra care.
What do we do?
#1
Each object is wrapped individually with recycled bubble wrap, creating the first soft layer of security.
#2
After that, the object already wrapped in recycled bubble wrap is placed in the cardboard box
(90% recycled cardboard).
The empty spaces inside the box are filled with newspapers to immobilize the desired product.
#3
The boxes are carefully closed with recycled paper scotch, which is characterized solely by the lack of chemical solvents.
#4
The box is again wrapped with a layer of bubble wrap.
ATTENTION:
We don’t like to waste materials, but since glass is a fairly fragile object, we take the necessary precautions !
#5
The packaging at this point is inserted into the last cardboard box,
thicker and stronger!
(also recycled to 90%).
This is the step that allows us to make each package solid, compact and resistant to any shock that may occur during the journey.
#6
The package is then closed with recycled paper tape and finally decorated with a round of adhesive tape depicting the words "FRAGILE", so as to capture the attention of operators who will take charge of the package, being able to safely deliver it in your homes.
The value of glass
Glass is a precious treasure that symbolizes Tuscan art and elegance.
The main characteristic of glass is durability, something that is now forgotten.
On average a glass bottle is remelted after two months.
The rebirth
